What is HALT?
This is a multi-site, blinded, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical field study to provide substantial evidence of effectiveness of a disease modifying drug intervention in the management of ventricular hypertrophy in cats with subclinical HCM. The study will be conducted at multiple clinical sites that are experienced in treating cats with HCM. The study will consist of up to a 14-day screening period, followed by a 12-month once-weekly dosing period, with five post-enrollment study visits.
How do I get involved?
However, after July 2024 only veterinarians will be able to refer your cat to a study site through the below forms. If you are interested in your cat being a participant please ask your veterinarian to review the study materials on hcmincats.com and refer your cat as appropriate.
Where is HALT taking place?
The HALT Study is taking place in the below cardiac care centers across the US, with more to be added over time. Select the site closest to you and if you don't see one in your City/State select other and fill out the general form and you will be notified of any new sites!
